P&K 3783 (VDI 3783 part 1+2)

Parameter of the calculation according to part 1

Form Part 1

Title

Any text can be entered, it will appear on the print-out (Report) of the ambient air concentration calculation.

Source data:

Source height

The height of the source's top edge above the ground is to be set in meters.

Source expansion X

The horizontal expansion of the source vertical to the dispersion direction is to be set in meters.

Source expansion Y

The vertical expansion of the source in meters can be set here.

Source expansion Z

The expansion of the source in dispersion direction in meters can be set here.

Vicinity development:

Height of the vicinity development

Set the average vicinity development in meters here.

Terrain type

Select a terrain type from a list.

Waste gas plume rise:

Threshold value

Threshold value for the heat tinting of the waste gas plume (in MW). From the moment the theshold value is exceeded, a rise is considered.

Consider rise

Button for consideration of the waste gas plume rise.

Definition of the mean dispersion:

Dispersion category

Select a dispersion category for the mean dispersion condition from a list.

Wind velocity

Wind velocity under mean dispersion conditions in m/s in a height of 10 m.

Barrier layer

Button for consideration of a barrier layer in the calculation of the concentration under mean dispersion conditions.

Resolution:

Puff resolution

Abort criterion to solve the gas puffs.

Supporting points

Number of supporting points for the ambient air concentration course. A value of 25 should be sufficient for most applications.

Calculation scope:

Extreme values

The calculation (clearly time-consuming) for the worst dispersion situation can be set here.

Ambient air concentration course

Button to transfer the output of the ambient air concentration course to the calculation log and the illustrations.
